Return Policy

Our policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange.

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and must be in resellable condition.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, Products including but not limited to Trading item and Kuji cannot be returned.

Requests are handled on a case-by-case basis, all exchanges will be subject to the final decision of the manufacturer/supplier, and product availability from our store or manufacturer/supplier.

Product(s) sold at discounted prices, especially those which prices have been lowered due to defects and/or issues, are not eligible for exchange or return.

Product photos shown online and/or in-store are often of prototypes or samples provided by the manufacturer. Inconsistencies between these images and the final product is not uncommon, and we seek your understanding if and when you encounter such imperfections. These inconsistencies and imperfections are caused by the mass-production process, and not considered defects. Please see some of the examples listed below for more information.

The box which contains the product is meant for protection of said product, and constitutes as “packaging”. Any superficial box damage (dents, creases) is thus not considered ‘damaged to goods’, and such damage does not qualify for an exchange or refund as long as the product within is not damaged.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refund

Pre-orders
Please note that Hakken reserves the right to reject cancellation requests made less than 5 business days before the pre-order closure.
Cancellations are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellations will not be accepted once the order has been placed with our supplier.

A cancellation fee of 5% + S$0.50 on the price of the item will apply for approved cancellations.

Once the pre-order has closed, no refunds / cancellations / changes will be accepted.

In-stocks
Cancellations cannot be accepted if the request is received after the order has been packed or shipped out.

Stock-cuts / Order Cancellations
Should any order be cancelled due to stock-cut / cancellation by the manufacturer/supplier, Hakken will refund customers the full price* of the item.
*full price refers to actual money paid by customer. All discounts and vouchers applied during the purchase will not be refunded in any manner.

Delivery Fees
If in the case where the delivery was attempted and the item brought back to our warehouse, the delivery fees previously paid will be forfeit by the customer. Any additional delivery fees incurred will be borne by the customer so as long as Hakken did not make a mistake in the delivery details.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be exchanged.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at [email protected].

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your request.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are strictly non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a shipping service with tracking number or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
